Role Of National Commission As Per The Consumer Protection Act

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), India is a quasi-judicial commission in India that was set up in 1988 under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986. Its head office is in New Delhi.

The mission of the National Consumer Commission (NCC) is to promote compliance with the Consumer Protection Act through advocacy and enforcement, in order to ensure fair business practice and uphold the social and economic welfare of consumers.
